Cairo International Book Fair is recognized as one of the biggest and most attended book fairs in the world, whose huge halls, international publishers, and various cultural events attract millions of people every year. This 2026 special edition marks the Personality of the Year, Nobel laureate Naguib Mahfouz, and Guest of Honor, Romania, and features strong literary ties. Visitors have an opportunity to visit the thousands of exhibitors of Arabic, African, European, and world literature.
