About the Author
Kathleen Scudder is a dedicated professional with more than 20 years of experience in border security and federal law enforcement. Beginning her career with the U.S. Border Patrol in 1996, she rose through the ranks to serve as Associate Chief and Division Chief for Law Enforcement Operations, retiring as a Senior Executive. Kathleen holds a Master’s in Security Studies from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from the State University of New York.
I really enjoyed this book. Kathy’s story of being a border patrol agent is inspiring. She faced so many challenges, and hearing about how she overcame them was motivating. Great read!
This book really opened my eyes. It talks about being a woman in a tough job and dealing with loss and motherhood. It’s real and honest, and it reminded me to keep pushing forward no matter what.
